Rebecca Contín, CFP®, has over two decades of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining East Rock, Rebecca was a financial planner for leading wealth management firms in San Francisco and Seattle, serving clients with all aspects of their financial planning needs. She also worked for Charles Schwab in their Center for Financial Research, where she was responsible for oversight of Schwab's equity ratings that are published and disseminated to multiple products and sites.
Rebecca has volunteered as a Financial Coach, Program Coordinator, and Workshop Leader on financial basics for local nonprofit organizations, including EARN, JobCorps,
SF Latino Film Festival, and Compass. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association and served as the Co-Chair for the San Francisco Financial Planning Day, providing free financial planning advice to individuals and families who may not otherwise have the opportunity to obtain assistance.
Rebecca earned a BA with Honors from the University of California, Davis, double majoring in Organizational Studies and Spanish. She completed the Personal Financial Planning program at the University of California, Berkeley. Rebecca enjoys swimming, good books, and new adventures with her two young children.
Stephanie J. Lee, CFP®, is a California Registered Investment Advisor. Prior to founding East Rock Financial Services, Stephanie spent 10 years as a Director with a major financial analytics firm; she was both a software engineer and product manager for the world's leading credit portfolio management solution. In this capacity, Stephanie taught bankers and insurers in North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa about the latest innovations in portfolio management.
Natana Valiveti has over 15 years of experience in Financial Planning, Telecom Network Planning and Statistical Computing. Prior to joining East Rock, Natana was a paraplanner at Sierra Pacific Financial Advisors, LLC.
While participating in direct client communication, she helped assess clients’ strengths and weaknesses in their path to financial freedom, developed financial
plans, and implemented the best desired plan for them. She brings experience in handling multiple aspects of financial planning.
She has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Madras University, Chennai, India; Bachelor and Master degrees in Computer Science from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada; and the Personal Financial Planning certificate from the University of California, Berkeley.
She is a student of Indian Classical music and an active member of two non-profit organizations where she teaches classical Indian music. She enjoys studying Indian Philosophy, traveling, and spending time with her family & friends.
Stephanie is on the Board of Directors for nonprofit California Jump$tart, which is dedicated to improving K-12 financial education. She also is a Parks & Recreation Commissioner in her community. Stephanie is a jazz bassist and rock violinist who has played on 21 albums and performs regularly. As a member of the Recording Academy, she votes on the Grammy awards.
Stephanie has a BS in Applied Mathematics from Yale University and an MPA from the University of Southern California. She completed the Personal Financial Planning program at the University of California, Berkeley. Stephanie has been a speaker at several Financial Planning Association conferences. She enjoys eating well, playing music, and spending time with friends and family.
